Welcome to the section of the MetroCats website dedicated to Nine Lives, a Geelong-based supporter group with a focus on the fairer sex. 

It’s not all about the game! Join Nine Lives Geelong for the social side of footy. Great one for the girls but guys are welcome too. Since 2001 Nine Lives Geelong has been providing members with an opportunity to socialise with equally passionate Cats supporters at Club fund-raising events which are always terrific fun.

Mid Season Footy Wrap

The Studio, Crown Entertainment Complex

7.00pm for 7.15pm

 

The Mid Season Footy Wrap is back bigger and better than ever.   With a new name, new format and new venue (event is formally known as the Nine Lives and MetroCats coach’s night) this is sure to be one of the hottest events on the calendar.  The footy wrap will be held in The Studio at Crown on Tuesday 3 June.

 

Billy Brownless will host the event which will be attended by all coaches plus premiership players Tom Harley, Josh Hunt, James Kelly, Steve Johnson, Cameron Mooney, Gary Ablett, Max Rooke and Paul Chapman.  Guests will hear from speakers in a panel format.

 

Tickets are $75 for Nine Lives – Geelong, MetroCats and Geelong Cats members and $80 for all other guests.  Tickets include a three course dinner with drinks at bar prices.  A bus is available to take Geelong residents to Melbourne and back for just $20 per person.

 

There are great opportunities to purchase some excellent Geelong memorabilia and other items including silent and main auction items plus a competition to win your table centre piece.

No 1 Female Ticket Holder’s Luncheon

12.15pm for 12.30pm

 

Get in quick for the No 1 Female Ticket Holder’s Luncheon which traditionally sells out in the first week of ticket sales opening.  The event is hosted by Geelong Cats No 1 ticket holder Prof Sally Walker (vice chancellor Deakin University) and Nine Lives – Geelong.

 

This event will be attended by ‘Carji’ Greeves medallist Gary Ablett, rising star Joel Selwood plus premiership players Brad Ottens, Cameron Mooney and Max Rooke.  Assistant coach Ken Hinkley will be a guest speaker at the lunch.

Tickets are $75 for Nine Lives – Geelong members and $85 for all other guests, which includes a two course lunch and beverages.
