Featured News Items     All MetroCats events and functions for 2008 have now been completed and we hope those attending enjoyed the experiences offered.  Finals await us again this year and there may be an opportunity to arrange something else at short notice (no promises though!).  Please keep checking our website over the rest of the season to see if anything does eventuate.  In the meantime, as always, GO CATS!
Pre-Match Function 2008. 11:30am, Saturday 17 May 2008 (before Richmond game) This event was held on 17 May and was a sell-out with 200 guests.  A few more photos we took of the function can be found here.	MetroCats/Nine Lives Mid-Season Footy Wrap 3 June 2008 - The Studio, Crown, Melbourne. This event was a co-branded function between MetroCats and Nine Lives and, for 2008, and was launched with a new name and a new venue. Previously known as the Coach's Night and held at the Eden on the Park, it remains one of the most enjoyable, informative and affordable functions on the GFC calendar - and one you shouldn't miss.  Once again Billy Brownless performed the MC role and was at his entertaining and probing best... This year's event was sold out and the 350 guests, coaches, Club officials and premiership players enjoyed a fabulous evening.  Fine food, great surroundings and the chance to rub shoulders with (and ask questions of) those in charge of the "Greatest Team of All".  Make a note now for next year - and don't miss out on a truly great night out.
