MetroCats & Nine Lives Mid Season Footy Wrap

This SOLD OUT event was held on Saturday 17 May 2008

Venue: The Studio, Crown Entertainment Complex
Time: 7.00pm for 7:15pm

Formally named ‘Coach’s Night’, the Metro Cats and Nine Lives – Geelong Mid Season Footy Wrap was back bigger and better than ever. With a new name, new format and new venue this was sure to be one of the hottest events on the calendar - and it didn't disappoint! The Footy Wrap offered guests a chance to hear players and staff from the football department speak of their experiences on the year so far.

Make a note for next year if you don't want to miss out on the best value and most informative night on the GFC calendar.

29 JUNE 2008  - A COMPLETED EVENT

BIG Screen Replay of 2007 Grand Final

A special thank you to all those that braved the wintry conditions to attend this event!  Some even came from the far western suburbs, so a particular well done to you guys (you know who you are)!

If you are a MetroCats member (or accompanying guest) this was your chance to relive the most convincing Grand Final performance of all time.  Thanks to our sponsor, Metro Cinema Boronia, we were able to invite MetroCats members and guests to a FREE replay of the greatest day of all!

How fantastic was it to watch and hear the game on the big screen?  Heaps better than your largest plasma....  All this was all free to MetroCats members and their guests.

This event was only been made possible due to the wonderful support of Metro Cinema Boronia, a valued MetroCats sponsor.

Price was: FREE to MetroCats members and their guests.

Melbourne Junior Football Clinic

What a great turn-out!  Many thanks to the volunteers that assisted with this event.

Wesley College, St Kilda

GFC players, including many Premiership players, put junior members through their paces in a range of activities including tackling, handball and goal kicking.

The clinics (there is also a Geelong clinic) are put on each year for GFC junior members aged between 6 and 15 years old. The cost is minimal but you do need to get in early to ensure a place.

Bookings for this particular event are only made through the GFC.
